David Walters has been appointed by Inelco Hunter as Business Development Manager for the Cooper Bussmann, Preci-Dip, Oupin and EAO franchises.

The Preci-Dip product range includes high-precision press-fit technologyand spring-loaded connectors. Preci-Dip is one of the world's leading manufacturers in screw machined and MIL spec contacts, spring loaded and interconnect components along with custom design solutions.

David is a qualified electronics engineer, having spent many years in design at AEA, Europower, Chloride and XP. The last 10 years have been spent in a helping customers design-in wound magnetic products into their end-user applications.

One of David's roles at Inelco Hunter is to provide electronics expertise on EMC and connection issues, to assist in the development of the most cost-effective solution. EMC is a "black art" and it's easy to "overkill" the solution with an expensive component. Volume products need a cost-effective, purpose-designed solution, using discrete components.

David commented "We will test the application and try out different inductors, filters and connectors to provide a solution using discrete components which will meet Level B EMC regulations". Inelco Hunter is a specialist distributor of displays, electronic components, thermal printers and systems, backed up by a large technical support team to help design the products into the application, and  provide complete custom-designed systems where required.
